TRIVIA # 1:

Mt. Baloy became the base camp of Gen. Leandro Fullon during the Philipine-American War and also became the base camp of anti-Japanese guerilla forces under Col. Macario Peralta during World War II.





General information

Mt. Baloy, one of the three highest peaks in Panay Island (all in Antique Province), is located  between the three provinces of  Iloilo, Antique and Capiz.  Its dense forest, punishing terrain and isolation make it very hard to conquer.
